Why Space Hobblies ?

People often ask “why are your
seminars free?” Our answer is “why not?” It would be a loss not to help others discover the exciting adventures space hobbies offer. Many are unaware of the exciting activities that are possible on a shoestring budget. For instance, many groups are sending tiny Arduino-based solar-powered GPS transmitters aloft on small balloons. Using just a party balloon, these small “ satellites ” have circumnavigated the world several times at over 40,000 feet! This is only one example of a fascinating space hobby. Sharing with beginners helps us enjoy these hobbies even more. |
